Providence is calling a Cook II (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to Food and Nutrition Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
Providence Medical Center is proud to offer new caregivers a retention bonus for joining our team. This position will offer up to a $1,000 bonus that will be paid to newly hired caregivers after a year of employment.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented individuals that produces, assembles, portions, serves and displays patient and cafeteria main entrees and accompaniment items. Maintains work area and equipment in order to meet sanitation and safety standards and levels for food and supply stock. Responsible for ordering and receiving some Nutrition Services products.
In this position you will:
Prepare food for patients, retail and catering
Follow standardized recipes to prepare hot meals, and use knowledge of dietary restrictions to make modifications as necessary
Assist in dish room (washing dishes, pots, pans, and cleaning area and restocking)
Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage preparation and serving of food
Required qualifications for this position include:
HS Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience.
Current Food Handling Permit
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
Progressive experience in institutional cooking, preparing foods in high quantities
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Proficiency in basic math skills
