Providence is calling a Chemical Dependency Counselor to Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Chemical Dependency Professional to provide counseling to chemically dependent patients and their families.
In this position you will:
Develop a biopsychosocial assessment, create a treatment plan, and counsel patients in a behavioral health setting.
Maintain a positive therapeutic relationship with each patient while maintaining patient and staff boundaries.
Use open and clear communication with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary medical professionals while maintaining patient and employer confidentiality.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate’s degree in counseling or related field
Current Chemical Dependency Professional license in Washington State
Current CPR certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or related field
Experience working with dual diagnosis patients
