We are seeking a Data Analyst Centralized Scheduling who will ensure proper ICD coding and MDS data input for Centralized Scheduling Services. This position schedules patients for Imaging, Infusion Services and multiple other areas. Inputs all data required for accurate scheduling to ensure exams get scheduled and enough information is obtained to get pre authorization.
In this position you will:
Schedule patients for appointments or services
Schedule according to established guidelines and parameters
Collect appropriate data to ensure exam gets pre authorized. Verifies financial coverage for services.
Collect minimum data set required for scheduling
Ensure clinical data and CPT code is obtained
Collect insurance information and data
Schedule from referral work queues in a timely manner.
Referral work queues will be worked daily
Manage the processing of data for Centralized Scheduling
Perform scheduling data entry
Schedule patients and inputs data in EPIC or Op time as needed
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Experience/background in Imaging Scheduling and a combination of education and directly related work experience in health care, ICD coding, medical terminology and understanding of insurance information.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in Imaging scheduling in either a hospital setting our outpatient setting.
