Providence is calling a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to work in Ultrasound Echo at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Department Director and Manager is expected to work independently performing a variety of echocardiography procedures for use in the diagnosis of heart disorders. The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist will independently perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) on adult, children and neonatal patients and prepare a preliminary echo report for review by the interpreting Physician or LIP.
In this position you will:
Demonstrates age specific patient care considerations for the population served.
Performs transthoracic echocardiogram, TTE, using 2-dimensional, M-mode, Color Flow and Doppler, as needed.
Assists physician with Transesophageal echocardiogram, TEE using 2-dimensional, M-mode, Color Flow and Doppler, as needed.
Performs Cardiac Stress Echocardiogram, both exercise and pharmaceutical stress using 2-dimensional, M-mode, Color Flow and Doppler, as needed.
Assists with various contrast studies to enhance images in all types of studies listed above.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a formal approved Cardiac Sonographer program
Must be registered or registry eligible by either ARDMS, or CCI; If not registered, registry must be obtained within one year of hire date
Must also maintain BLS certification
Five (5) years experience in healthcare
