Providence Health & Services Administrative Nursing Supervisor in Chewelah, Washington
Providence is calling a Administrative Nursing Supervisor (LTCU/Skilled Nursing Care, Day Shift, 0.6 FTE/24 hours per week) to Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chewelah, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Provide day-to-day immediate management of unit operations, allowing the Director to focus on higher level management functions.
Act as a representative of administration and coordinates department activities on assigned shift.
Coordinate resident comprehensive assessment and care planning according to CMS guidelines for LTCU and Swing Beds.
Coordinate care conference schedule according to due dates of MDS and care plan review.
Facilitate residents care conferences.
Accurately complete MDS and RAP review for residents according to required frequency.
Transmit or assure completion of MDS according to required time tables, while maintaining zero default rates (when appropriate).
Required qualifications for this position include:
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Five (5) years of long term care professional experience (within the last seven (7) years)
Ability to work independently and assume leadership role to accomplish objectives
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors degree. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
With one (1) year being in entry level management or supervision
Resident Assessment Coordinator Certified - RAC-CT
