Providence Health & Services Respiratory Therapy Assistant - Respiratory Therapy in Centralia, Washington
Providence is looking for a Respiratory Therapy Assistant ( 0.5 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Respiratory Therapy at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA .
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant to be responsible for the delivery of electrocardiograms, clerical support and other respiratory duties.
In this position you will:
Supply all designated areas with proper levels of respiratory care equipment
Perform daily oxygen rounds every shift
Provide clerical assistance to the Respiratory Care Department which includes patient charting, documentation of treatment cards, slips and patient billing
Be familiar with inventory procedures, ordering and stocking of respiratory equipment and supply requirements.
May be required to be familiar with, and versed in the practice and application of cleaning respiratory equipment.
General filing and documentation of treatment cards, slips, office materials, and equipment is required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma with typing and business machines preferred.
At least two years of general office experience which includes dealing with the public.
Familiar with and be able to operate word processing equipment.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of knowledge.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Previous hospital experience helpful.
