Providence Health & Services Senior Software Engineer, Sitecore - Digital Innovation Group in Seattle, Washington
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence Health & Services is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
We are seeking a Senior Developer and Architect responsible for ownership of the organization’s content management system, Sitecore; ability to function as a highly efficient individual contributor as well as a team leader; ability to ramp up quickly in a C# environment with both WebForms and MVC; strong analytical ability to find the best solution in a complex, legacy environment; strong communicator with ability to prioritize and multitask.
In this position you will:
Be the in-house technical expert on the Sitecore platform
Design and develop solutions rapidly in an agile environment
Work across teams to find the best solutions to problems
Mentor and inspire junior staff
Troubleshoot server issues, manage release processes
Work with outside vendors to deliver solutions
Manage and take ownership of work queues and scrum boards
6 years of object oriented design and implementation
Experience working with complex content management systems (Sitecore, Abode Experience Manager, Drupal, etc.)
Sitecore certified a plus
3 years of experience developing web applications with Sitecore 8.x a plus
Ability to complete all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing and support utilizing Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret complex business requirements and encapsulate business logic/rules into reusable libraries.
Experience with software versioning and release management.
Experience with server management and IIS.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
